Description
A 1977 Fisher 37 built by Fairways Marine Ltd England - to an excellent Wyatt & Freeman design. One owner from new. She is the ketch version with the aft cabin option. A tried and test long distance blue water motor sailer.
Long keeled, ketch-rigged motorsailer, Ford Sabre 80 hp diesel, 7 berths 2 cabins plus saloon, fully equipped with electronics and generator, also equipped with anchor windlass. She was built to Lloyds classification.
With furling main and genoa. She is the rare and sought after two cabin version (with a large aft cabin and two heads).
The Fisher 37, like its sister yachts, are unmistakable. A double-ender with their bold sheer and deep teak clad bulwarks, clearly show the influence of the sturdy fishing vessels of the North Sea.
Fishers are renowned for their solid construction and general good looks. Many have completed long voyages but they are perhaps at their best in the more northerly waters of the UK, where they provide a level of weather protection and comfort that is second to
none, but still manage to maintain a very respectable sailing performance.
